Here’s how you can choose the Best Sheds for Your Backyard

Mostly used as a storage space, sheds can be found in the backyards of most houses. These structures are built by many individuals to engage in their hobbies such as gardening, repairing, etc. apart from widely being used to store gardening supplies, building tools, stuff from your school days, projects made during college, etc.
Types of Sheds
Sheds are available as large or small structures depending on the need. They may be either made of metal, fabric, wood or plastic.
1.      Small sheds: These are simple structures which can be bought in a kit form and can be easily assembled with the help of given instructions. These are used mostly for storing gardening supplies such as seeds, soil, fertilisers, and other tools such as lawn mower, scissors, etc. These are basically very small and take less area. A small shed may come in two different roof designs, apex or pent.
·         Apex roof slopes to two sides that meet in the middle, and therefore has more headroom in the center to work inside and move around. It is the traditional design like we find in most houses and is more common as compared to the pent roof.

·         Pent roofs have a single slope and more headroom on one side that is mostly towards the door. It gives a little modern touch and is used mostly as a storage rather than working inside.
2.      Large Sheds: These are large structures equipped with electricity, windows and have much more space than small sheds. This type is customised to be used as offices, play house for kids, or a place for relaxation with small sitting areas or even a bed. They are also customised as:
·         Garden sheds: Most garden sheds are small and used for keeping tools and mowers, large sheds are used as an alternative to greenhouse
·         Bike Sheds: These are built by stores that may rent out bikes for the people around. They make an allotted space to keep bikes locked and safe from harsh weather.
·         Farm sheds: Farmers build sheds to keep their cattle and food supplies. These are customised to with racks and cages to store farm equipment such as tractors, hay for the animals, etc.
